New Car

Kim and I got a new car together. A 2009 VW Jetta. It's a manual so Kim is going to have to teach me how to drive a stick. But it should be fun!

The Places I Have Lived: Sarasota

In May of this year I went down to Sarasota to spend the summer with Kim. Spending the summer turned into moving down permanently. Sarasota is a neat place to live. There is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world 10 mins from our house. As far as entertainment goes there's not much more to do than living in the Dub-C, just maybe a sorter drive. There are some neat things that arnt in Wesley Chapel, like an aquarium, splatters (were you paint pottery), ice cream shops on every corner and there are 3 malls to shop at. I can defantly see myself living and raising our kids here. Although I miss Wesley Chapel and everyone there, I love my new life here and all my new friends.

Review: The Assassination Of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Ford

This was a good movie, it is slow moving but very interesting. Brad Pitt plays James as a out of control, depressed cowboy who is nearing the end of his journey in life and knows he will be killed or arrested soon. He longs for death and talks about it often in the movie. Casey Affleck plays Robert "Bob" Ford, the man who shot Jessie. Bob is a nobody who want to be a somebody. He admires James and at the same time hate him and is scared of him. This is a very slow moving but it is a great character study into the minds of Jessie and Bob. I recomend it to anyone that likes a good drama or western's.

The Places I have lived: Wesley Chapel

OK so before I tell you about my home town lets give you a quick rundown on myself, like lets say Bryan 101. I was born in Tampa, FL at the woman's hospital, it's not called that anymore not sure what it is now. I moved into the house i lived at all my life when i was a few month old.

Where: Wesley Chapel, FL
When: 1983-2008 (25 years)
Where is it?: Just north of Tampa near Zephyrhills.

Growing up:
OK Wesley Chapel (or as we like to call it, the Dub-C) was a boring place to live for the most part growing up, but at the same time it rocked! I use to ride my bike to my friend Chad's house to play basketball and video games, or to Andy's for the same. It was a quit and safe place to grow up. It was however, when I go older boring!!!!!! There was nothing in the Duc-C to do. If you wanted to see a movie you had to go to either Near by Zephyrhills (or Z-Town as I like to call it) about a 15- 20 min drive depending on traffic. Or if you wanted to go to a nice theater with statium seating and all that you had to go 30mins to New Tampa. There is bowling in Zephyrhills. NO shopping, you had to go to Tampa for that. A few restronts here and there. You had to kinda make your own fun. Or drive to Tampa.

Now:
Before I moved to Sarasota The Dub-C was starting to come to it's own. They now have a very nice Cobb theater, where my brother works, A "mall" with Best Buy, Toys-R-US and the like. Lots of places to eat, Appelbees, Crackerbarral, just to name a few. It's slowly looking more and more like a small City instead of a town.

Feeding Boy Scouts Mountain Dew and Red Bull

OK so i have to drive from Sarasota to Dade City for 1 damn class, but at least it is an interesting one. The teacher is a funny guy. He is all the time making jokes, the class is having a ball, but also learning. He uses the silliest thing to explain things, but they somehow make seance. Like yesterday, in order to tell us how water moliculs work he said think of them as a bunch of boy scouts holding hand. What happens when you give them Mountain Dew and Red Bull? They go crazy! They start moving around and filling up more space. Then he started running around the room. What a neat class

So I am very close to graduating from Pasco Hernando Community College in Dade City. I take 2 classes on-line but I also take a class at the school, so every Wednesday I drive an hour and a half there and back to class! It's hard bc I am away from Kim most of the night. But it is only untill Dec. 15 or so. And if it helps me graduate sooner then so be it!

OK so I am now finally employed somewhere! I work at the Alpha Omega Cafe in Bradenton. I love it. There is Christian music playing all day, band that come in and play. It's an awesome place to work. The best part for me is that I work 9:30Am- 2:30pm!
